Xiaomi Opens First Mi Home Experience Store in India

Xiaomi which is a Chinese electronics and software company is always known for smartphones, Xiaomi released it's first smartphone in August 2011 and has rapidly gained market share in China to become China’s largest smartphone company in 2014. As of 2017 Xiaomi is the world’s 5th largest smartphone company.

Since most people think of Xiaomi as only a phone branch, but that’s not the reality. Xiaomi had a plan to introduce Products not launched in India, so they opened their first Mi Home experience Store in Chennai, their goal was to have a store where one could see not just products launched in India, but everything Xiaomi has to offer.

This new Mi home experience store in Chennai is divided into three parts:

• The first showcases products like Ninebot Plus and Hover board and Mi robot builder.

• The second part showcases different phones that the company is selling and products such as Mi Air purifier.

• The third part again shows products that are not available in India such as company laptops, it's rice cookers and water purifiers.

Water purifiers, portable air purifiers, laptops, rice cookers, robot vacuum cleaners and Ninebot Hoverboards are few of product which are not launched in India, which are on display at Mi experience store in Chennai.

This experience Center is an extension of Xiaomi’s unique Business model, which brings model together the efficiency of the e-commerce and offline retail user experience. The experience center will give Mi users an opportunity to have a first hand experience of Xiaomi’s products.

The Indian Head of Xiaomi also said that company is also planning to show live demos for few such as water purifier and rice cooker. It will showcase several interesting products ranging from Mi kettle , Mi Bike, Mi Rice Cookers to Mi Ninebot above all products available in India.

After Chennai next two planned cities are Delhi and Mumbai. In India the company has recently launched Mi Smart LED Tv 4 and 2 new smart phones – Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 plus.

This store was their 25th store and their goal is to open it's 100th store by 2018. Store was opened March 1, 2018. The store will showcase several interesting products. All these products have unique attributes. Mi water purifier comes with high precision with water filtration technology which removes antibiotics, scale bacteria, heavy metals from water making it safe to drink.

According to head of Xiaomi, the reason for opening this store was all the love that they got from their costumers, so it will be very interesting to see people’s reaction towards this new store.
