Now a days, smart phones have become our new friends. They are our new best friends and our constant companions and hence it is only logical that you do some research before investing in one. With so many smart phones available, it's natural that you might find it difficult to choose one.
Samsung Galaxy J8 is a new one to us and doesn’t look as premium as the former as it comes in a polycarbonate body but has a large super amoled screen panel up to 6-inch. It was launched in May 2018 and comes with a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 720 pixels (1440x720). The price in India starts from Rs. 16,990.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 is powered by Octa-core processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
As far as the cameras are concerned, it packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It runs Android 8.0 and is powered by a 3500mAh and dual SIM(GSM + GSM) smart phone that accepts Nano-SIM in both slots. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM,3G and 4G.
Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Acceleration and Ambient light sensor.
This Super AMOLED delivers stunning color reproduction and deep contrast. Using the rear imaging lens, you can shoot images and record videos even in the dark due to LED flash. It has come out in three different colors i.e. gold, black and blue.
Examining it features, we can say that its a similar copy of Samsung Galaxy S8. And as such, having 90% similar properties of Samsung J7 prime.
The processor is also lower than expected, using only a Snapdragon 450 chipset but the battery gives a punch at 3500mAh. This I had mentioned earlier as well. One unique feature is said to be that it enables you to use chatting apps without pausing your videos.
At last I can conclude that the features of this smart phone is not acceptable in this price range. This smart phone does not compete with other smart phone like Redmi Note 5 pro, etc. They give you a good smart phone in this price. But, as I would say again , the last call is yours. Your decision is the valid one.
